Rimendo stops time in its plodding tracks to return us to the ‘40s and ‘50s, to the age of the Paris jazz clubs of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where the group sketches out a lively musical portrait of Boris Vian through well-known texts (Fais-moi mal Johnny, Le blues du dentist, etc.) and other neglected gems (Suicide Valse, Je veux une vie en forme d’arête), performed by Sarah Olivier. In this rousing Vianesque racket and swinging soirée, you’ll sing (a bit), laugh (a lot) and think you’ve scored a good table at Tabou.
