Biography

Regina López Muñoz was born in Málaga in 1985. She decided to become a full-time literary translator in 2011. She has done Spanish versions of such English language authors as Edna O’Brien, Gloria Steinem, Uzodinma Iweala, Mary Karr, Marina Keegan, Roald Dahl, and Vera Brittain. She has translated into Spanish such French authors as Jean Genet, Léon-Paul Fargue, Philippe Djian, Jean Giono, and Prix Goncourt winners Éric Vuillard, Jérôme Ferrari and Frédéric Pajak. She also translates comics and leads university translation workshops, as well as public meetings with authors.
