Zainab Omaki

Zainab Omaki is a Nigerian writer currently pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She has a Master’s in the same field from the University of East Anglia, where she was the recipient of the Miles Morland African Writer’s scholarship. She was artist-in-residence at the University of Bayreuth’s inaugural creative writing residency and is an alumna of the Tin House Workshop. Her work has appeared in a number of periodicals, including Passages North, Transition Magazine, The Rumpus, and Isele.
