Jurij Zawadski

The poet, sound-poetry performer, translator, noise artist, and philologist Jurij Zawadski was born in Ternopil, Ukraine, in 1981. He writes in Polish and holds a PhD in literary theory. He is the editor-in-chief at Krok Publishers and also works for Posestry.eu, a portal dedicated to promoting Polish literature in Ukrainian translation. A number of his published writings have been collected in an anthology titled Paperback, which Krok brought out in 2013. Several of his poems can be found in English translation at various online poetry sites.
