Biography
Stéphanie Solinas is a French visual artist, researcher and writer based in Paris. She has been developing a multifaceted body of work that lies at the crossroads where image, books, and installation art meet. It has been seen in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad. She has been a resident at the Villa Medici (the French Academy in Rome) and the Headlands Center for the Arts in San Francisco, and is the author of Le guide du pourquoi pas ? (Seuil, 2020) and Le soleil ni la mort (Delpire & co, 2022). In 2023, she published L’être plus (Seuil), an essay that sprang from the five years she spent on the road in the American West. The book examines the “augmented” human of the future as well as the connections between spirituality and artificial intelligence.
