Biography
A graduate of France’s renowned École normale supérieure with a degree in contemporary literature, Sonia Kronlund is a nonfiction writer for film, radio, and print media. Since 2002 she has been the producer and host of Les pieds sur terre (Feet on the Ground), a radio journalism program on France Culture that aims to regularly discover an overlooked aspect of reality today. She has also made a documentary called Nothingwood that was filmed in Afghanistan and screened during the Quinzaine des réalisateurs at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. In 2002 she published Les pieds sur terre, nouvelles du réel with Actes Sud, and is writing L’homme aux mille visages for Éditions Grasset.
