Biography
Sergio Aquindo was born in 1974. The Paris-based Argentine writer, artist, and illustrator regularly draws for Le Monde and is the author of six books that bring together image and text. They include an illustrated biography, Harry & the Helpless Children (Rackham, 2012), the graphic novel Cendres des hommes et des bulletins (with Pierre Senges, Le Tripode, 2019), and L’atlas des monstres connus et méconnus (Éditions du Chêne, 2020). In 2023, he published his first novel Bête à gravats (Alma), which tells the story – one that certainly suggests autofiction – of the wanderings of an Argentine illustrator trying to get his bearings in a working-class Paris.
