Sergey Bondarenko

Sergey Bondarenko is a Russian historian, journalist, and writer. Since 2009, he has been working with Memorial in different capacities that include archival research and organizing public events such as Returning the Names and the latest public exhibition on Lubyanka Square, My Documents, 1937. He has been a board member of Moscow Memorial since 2024. As a writer, he has contributed for the past ten years to several independent Russian media outlets, including Meduza and Colta. His book Lost in Memory will be published in early 2025.
