Ruxandra Burcescu

The Romanian writer and journalist Ruxandra Burcescu was born in 1989. After earning a degree in communications and public relations from the National School of Political Science and Public Administration, she began working in marketing while writing political pieces for Republica.ro, LiterNet, and Dilema Veche. In 2021 she was awarded a Cărturești Literary Scholarship, which allowed her to devote herself to writing Instabil, her debut novel. Between a psychological study and fantasy literature, this work of fiction deals with family relationships and went on to win an Agenția de Carte Award. Her second novel is due out in March.
