Raphaël Laforgue

The French novelist Raphaël Laforgue was born in 1990. After earning a degree in history from the École normale supérieure de Paris, he began working as a programmer and consultant for cultural institutions like the Centre national du cinema and the Scène de recherche Paris-Saclay, while in his free time he pursued writing fiction. Published by Notabilia in 2025, his first novel, L’île de Clipperton, tells the story of a child searching for a controversial text within a mysterious dictatorial regime.
