Biography
Pierre Cendors, born in 1968 in the Alpine village of Ambilly, is half-French and half-Irish. His Irish background has bred in him a love for the elemental, dense, wild landscape that inhabits his poems and novels. His most recent works are Minuit en mon silence (Le tripode, 2017), Archives du vent (Le tripode, 2015), shortlisted for the Prix Wepler 2015 and currently in the running for the Prix Lettres Frontière 2016, and L’invisible dehors, carnet islandais d’un voyage intérieur (Isolato, 2015). Pierre Cendors will devote his time as writer in residence to his project Chefs d’œuvre invisibles.
