Biography
Born in 1979, Pedro Monaville taught for several years at New York University Abu Dhabi before being named associate professor of African history at McGill University in Montreal. He studied at the University of Liège, the Catholic University of Louvain, European University Institute in Florence, and University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, specializing in colonial and postcolonial history of Congo. His first book, Students of the World: Global 1968 and Decolonization in the Congo, was published in English by Duke University Press in 2022.
