Biography

Olivia Tapiero is a Canadian writer, translator, and musician. The editor-in-chief of the Quebec creative writing review Moebius, she has authored several books, including Phototaxis (2018) and Rien du tout (2021), both published by Mémoire d’encrier, which led to her being shortlisted for various prizes such as the Grand Prix du livre de Montréal and the Lambda Literary Awards. Un carré de poussière, which is slated for publication in 2025 (Éditions du commun), is a hybrid work between first-person reporting and the essay through which she questions the connections between sexual violence and the history of reason. She divides her time between Marseille and Montreal.
