Biography

Marie Glassl is a German playwright, curator, author, and translator, especially of poetry and political theory, from Italian and English. She works between performative arts and discourse with a focus on the materialities of language, entanglements between esthetics and language politics, and Italian feminist art. She is the editor of DIAPHANES magazine and has done series of interviews, lectures and talks in a range of venues, including AdK Berlin, the Royal College of Arts London, Migros Museum Zürich, and Bolzano Danza. She collaborates with performing artists and institutions worldwide, currently working as an artistic director of the project “On Wasted Grounds.” She is the German translator and editor of Alice Ceresa’s work.
