Biography
The literary translator Maria Raczkiewicz-Sledziewska was born in 1974 in Poland. She studied Spanish Philology at Warsaw University and holds an MA in linguistics. She is a member of the Association of Literary Translators, and her Polish translations, from the Spanish, English and French, have appeared in a number of literary reviews. She also works as an editor and proofreader, and has served as literary adviser and reader at several publishing houses, proposing and editing books.
