Biography

The New York-based Danish journalist Louise Roug Bokkenheuser is the author of a collection of Iraq War reporting titled Hvad er Ikke Slår Dig Ihjel. She began her career as a national and foreign correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, before becoming the foreign affairs editor-in-chief at Newsweek and HuffPost. Her work has been shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize and earned her an Ebbe Munck Prize, which is awarded by the Queen of Denmark in recognition of extraordinary achievements in the field of writing.
