Biography

Klementyna Suchanow is the author of several nonfiction books, as well as a researcher, reporter, historian, editor, translator, and occasional academic. In 2017 she published the two-volume biography of the Polish writer and playwright Witold Gombrowicz, Gombrowicz: I, genius (Czarne, 2017). In recent years she has focused more on investigative writing, including This is War, which looks at the links between fundamentalist organizations and the Kremlin. She is also a cofounder of the grassroots movement Polish Women’s Strike.
