Biography
Julia Kornberg was born in Buenos Aires. She is currently living and working in New York. Her cultural criticism has appeared in a range of publications, including The New York Review of Books, The Drift and The Baffler. Her first novel, Atomizado Berlín, was published in Spanish in 2021 (Club Hem). In 2024, Astra House Press brought out Berlin Atomized, her own English translation of the novel. Currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Princeton, she is working on the English translation of her second novel, Las Fiestas, which won the PROA Foundation award and is slated for publication in 2026.
