Johann Le Guillerm

The circus performer-artist Johann Le Guillerm trained at the Centre national des arts du cirque. In 1994, he created his own circus company, Cirque ici, and mounted Où ça ?, his first solo show, which toured the world for five years. His body of work as a whole was awarded the Grand Prix national du cirque in 1996, the Prix des arts du cirque SACD in 2005, and the Grand Prix SACD in 2017. He has committed himself to a long-term project titled Attraction that is both poetic and utopian, and has involved shows, performances, and installations since he first started it in 2001.
