Jana Prikryl

Jana Prikryl is the author of three books of poems, Midwood (WW Norton, 2022), No Matter (Random House, 2019), and The After Party (Random House, 2016). Her poetry and criticism appear widely, in magazines and journals such as The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The London Review of Books, The Nation, The Baffler, and the New York Review of Books. She has received a Literature Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Born in the former Czechoslovakia, she grew up in Canada and is the Executive Editor of The New York Review of Books.
