Biography
Born in 1960 in Lublin, Poland, Jan Maria Kłoczowski is a translator of French literature, a poet, and a historian, as well as a violinist. A member of the Association des traducteurs littéraires and the PEN Club, he has done Polish versions of works by Marguerite Yourcenar, Tzvetan Todorov, Alain Besançon, and Patrick Deville.
