Gothataone Moeng

Gothataone Moeng was born in Serowe, Botswana. She lives and works there today. A graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she earned an MFA in fiction writing, she was a 2022-2023 fiction fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and a 2023-2024 Carol Houck Smith Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the author of Call and Response (Viking, 2023), a collection of short stories dealing with contemporary family issues in Botswana.
