Flurina Badel

The visual artist and author Flurina Badel lives with her family in Guarda. After training as a journalist, she completed an MFA from the Institute of Art at HGK FHNW in Basel and went on to do additional studies at the Institute of Language Arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In 2019 she published her first poetry collection, tinnitus tropic (editionmevinapuorger), which took the Swiss Literature Prize in 2020.
