Florian Gantner

Florian Gantner was born in 1980. He is a freelance writer based in Vienna. A member of the Association of Austrian Authors and the director of the literary festival Literatur findet Land, he has published six novels to date. In 2021, he brought out Soviel man weiss (Residenz Verlag), which explores the fear of surveillance and civil disobedience of a mixed group of characters. He has won a number of awards and distinctions, including the Biennial Floriana Prize and a Rauris sponsorship grant. His latest novel is titled Eternal Partner (Septime, Vienna, 2024).
