Esther Yi

Esther Yi was born in Los Angeles in 1989 and is a writer living and working in Leipzig, Germany. In her first novel, Y/N (Astra House, 2023), she tells the story of a young Berliner and K-pop fan who sets off in search of one of her idols who has mysteriously vanished. Well received by the critics, the book was shortlisted for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize 2023 and named the Best Book of 2023 by The New Yorker.
