Biography

Emma Gomis is a Catalan-American writer, translator and researcher. She has published four pamphlets, two of which are cowritten with Anne Waldman. She is a coeditor of New Weathers: Poetics from the Naropa Archive (Nightboat Books, 2022). She was selected by Patricia Spears for the Poetry Project’s prize in 2020. She earned a BA in Musicology and Hispanic Studies, and holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics from Naropa’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, where she was also a fellowship recipient, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Cambridge on post-1960s feminist art writing.
