Biography
Eloi Creus was born in 1992. A Catalan literary translator, he holds a PhD in classical philology from the University of Barcelona, and has completed a postdoctoral fellowship at both the University of Bologna and the University of Barcelona. While especially interested in translating ancient classical works – his Spanish versions include Sappho, Aristophanes and Plato – he also translates from Italian and English, notably Primo Levi (En hora incerta, Cafè Central, 2023) and Sandro Penna (Si la vida sabés l’amor meu, Edicions de 1984, 2023). He teaches Greek translation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
