Eleanor Ellis

Eleanor Ellis is an Arabic-English translator and editor. She previously served as assistant editor to Dr. Samia Mehrez on In the Shoes of the Other: Interdisciplinary Essays in Translation Studies from Cairo (Kutub Khan, 2019), which celebrated a decade of lectures at AUC’s Center for Translation Studies. She received her MA in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and was previously a CASA Fellow at the American University of Cairo.
