Cristian Camara Outes

The translator, publisher, and researcher Cristian Cámara Outes earned an MA from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a second MA from the Universidad Iberoamericana de México, and a PhD from the Charles University in Prague. He has published numerous articles on issues such as the aesthetics of Walter Benjamin, the Spanish-American avant-garde novel, Russian formalism, Czech structuralism, and translation theory. He has translated authors such as Viktor Shklovsky, Yuri Tynianov, Vilém Mathesius, and Jan Mukařovský.
