Claudia Cabrera

Claudia Cabrera has done Spanish translations of some seventy books (narrative, children’s literature, humanities, and theater), working from the German. Her authors include Anna Seghers, Arnold Zweig, Leta Semadeni, Felix Salten, Hans-Thies Lehmann, Thomas Bernhard, and Heiner Müller. In recent years she has dedicated herself mainly to translating literature written by German-speaking writers living in exile during the Third Reich. She is the current chair of the Mexican Literary Translators Association-Ametli.
