Bernadette Sarman

Born in Vienna, Austria, in 2001 to Austrian-Japanese parents, Bernadette Sarman is currently doing German and Japanese studies at the University of Vienna. She began publishing stories in magazines and anthologies in her teens and has since read her work in front of many audiences, including at the Hofsburg in Vienna. She is writing her first novel and also works as a journalist for Bühne Magazin.
