Barbara Sauser

Born in 1974 in Bern, Barbara Sauser is a freelance German translator who works from Italian, French, Russian, and Polish. Following her university studies in Slavic languages and musicology in Fribourg, she began working at the publishing houses Diogenes and Rotpunktverlag in Zurich. She is a co-organizer of Weltlesebühne in Zurich, an ongoing series where translators talk about their craft, and currently a member of the A*dS board.
